One thing the AQB is doing to help address the problem is the proposal of Practical Applications of Real Estate Appraisal program, which will appear in the AQB's Third Exposure Draft of Proposed Changes to the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria, due to be published next week. The AQB intends to propose, under this program, that individuals may receive up to 100% of the experience required for a Licensed Residential or Certified Residential credential by completing the program modules, which will involve performing appraisals in a learning environment.
We strongly suggest you review the exposure draft document when published next week, and provide any comments you deem appropriate.
